My name is Tracey the owner of The Pink Poodle Dog Grooming. I was taught dog grooming 20 years ago by my mother who has been grooming now for more than 40 years. I was born into the dog world as my mother bred and showed poodles when I was growing up at some of the most famous dog shows in the UK, she was also a Judge at many dog shows, so when she taught me dog grooming I knew she had a great eye for detail and knew exactly how the dog breed should look, understandably times have changed where nowadays we have the designer dogs from the little Maltese x, the oodles and many more, but standards should remain the same, this has been ground into me like my English accent, there is no getting away from it. I believe that dog grooming is an art and every care should be given to detail when possible. There are no quick shave offs and no corners cut and definitely no production line in my work place. I’m proud to call my mum, my teacher as after more than 40 years of experience she truly is a Master Groomer and over her dog grooming years not only has she had the pleasure of grooming thousands of dogs, she has also had the pleasure of grooming some celebrity pooches, Sheila Steafel, a famous actress from the Royal Shakespeare Company in London and Michael Ball’s mothers dogs too.
